The state of Kansas is located in the Midwestern United states. The capital of Kansas is Topeka and the largest city is Wichita. Kansas is nicknamed as the “Sunflower State” or the “Jayhawker State”. Speaking of great jazz music, the famous Charlie Parker was born in Kansas City in 1920. The Kansas City Chiefs, the NFL team, has only won the Super Bowl once, but that didn’t keep the team from breaking the world record for the loudest NFL stadium in September 2014.
